About Us

Whether your pet is recovering from surgery, an injury or has general mobility issues, we offer comprehensive rehabilitation services at our Pet Rehabilitation Center conveniently located in Boston.

For any condition, we conduct an initial consultation and thorough evaluation. We then create a treatment plan based on the needs of each patient which includes both state-of-the art in clinic treatments as well as a home exercise plan.

Dr. Roxana Caraballo, DVM, CCRT, CVA, CCFT

Dr. Caraballo grew up is Uruguay, South America, where she had close interaction to animals since childhood. Coming to USA after receiving her Veterinary Medicine degree, she finished her clinical year at Purdue University. During her 15 years practice as a General Practitioner in Memphis, TN, she recognized the need of improving life quality in geriatric patients. For that reason she pursued the Certification on Animal Physical rehabilitation that she completed in 2011 and lead up to opening Pet Fit Animal Rehabilitation clinic in Memphis. After being offered a position at UC Davis, she moved to California where she spent some time at their Integrative Medicine Service, doing clinical work and teaching veterinary students. Her special interests during her career have been Preventive Medicine, Internal Medicine and dermatology, with a passion on improving Quality of Life in senior patients with the use of Physical Rehabilitation and Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture, Tuna, Food therapy and Herbal medicine). Dr. Caraballo likes to spend her free time doing photography, gardening and reading.

Christina Campbell CVT, CCRP

Christina joined the Boston Pet Rehabilitation team in December of 2021 bringing over 20 years of experience in animal care as a Certified Veterinary Technician. After assisting at a rehabilitation center a couple days a week, she found her love for pet physical therapy. She moved on to complete her certification in Canine Rehabilitation in December 2019 from the University of Tennessee and began her career as a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner. She also works with the Canine Brains Project at Harvard University using non-invasive MRI scans studying how the brain manages different behavior and cognition in dogs. In her free time she enjoys walks on the beach with her dogs Chloe and Serena, canoeing, cooking or just relaxing at home with her kitties Weedge and Theo.

Sam, Veterinary Technician

Samantha joined the team in February of 2018 bringing a lifelong passion for animal care and over 10 years of experience in the field as both a Certified Groomer and a Veterinary Technician. She has a passion for providing exceptional patient care and helping educate pet owners about Pet Rehabilitation. In her free time, Samantha is an avid Bruins fan who enjoys staying active by going to the gym or hiking with her rescued lab mix Audrey and her pug Peach.

Sarah, Veterinary Technician

After graduating from Northeastern with a degree in biology, Sarah began working as a Veterinary Technician in both General Practice and Specialty Hospitals over 7 years ago. She joined BAH as part of our rehabilitation team in June of 2019. She’s also spent time volunteering at the New England Aquarium caring for the penguins! A true lover of all things outdoors, Sarah enjoys swimming, biking, running, and skiing. She commutes to the Rehabilitation Center all the way from the South Coastal area of Massachusetts with her 12 year old chocolate lab, Libby, by her side.
